Anchor is built to help you regulate your emotions in real time. This policy explains what data we collect, why, and how we keep it safe. No legal jargon, just plain English.

What we collect

Your email address (for account creation and communication)
Biometric data from your connected wearable — such as heart rate, heart rate variability, skin temperature, and similar physiological signals

How we use it

We use your biometric data to deliver real-time emotional regulation interrupts — the core feature of Anchor. Your email is used to manage your account and send important updates.

We do not sell your data

Your data is yours. We will never sell it to anyone, ever.

Third-party sharing

We do not share your personal data with third parties, with one exception: we connect to your wearable's API to receive biometric data. This means limited data flows between Anchor and the following providers:

WHOOP
Garmin
Apple
Oura
Fitbit
Samsung

We only exchange the minimum data needed to deliver the service.

Data storage

Your data is stored securely using Supabase, with encryption at rest and in transit.

Deleting your data

You can request deletion of all your data at any time. Just email support@getanchorapp.co and we'll take care of it.

Governing law

This policy is governed by the Australian Privacy Act 1988 and the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs).
